Sea Burials

Cremated remains of deceased persons are spread upon the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Distribution is made from the Island Hopper Queen departing from Cedar Key, Florida. The Island Hopper Queen is a twenty-passenger U.S. Coast Guard inspected vessel captained by a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master.

A typical burial voyage lasts a total of forty-five minutes and up to twenty friends and relatives may participate. They may bring real flowers and/or ferns to be distributed with the cremains. Please call for details.
